Snow begins to fall on the mountains of the world. Riders are finishing waxing their boards for the winter season, and the World Snowboard Day is closer and closer and present the new website updated in 8 different languages: english, franceis, german, spanish, italian, czech, chinase and japanese!
For the 4th year, Boardsports Industry Manufacturers Association, (www.eurosima.com), and the WSF (World Snowboard Federation) open the winter season with the World Snowboard Day! The aim of this event is to allow a wide public to discover the fun of snowboarding trough many free activities all over the world!
Already more than 115 events in 31 countries are involved so don’t hesitate anymore and come and discover the full program on www.world-snowboard-day.com!
Initiations, equipment testing, contests, riders’ signings, environmental awareness, concerts, parties... This is a sample of the free activities proposed by the snowboard community (federations, resorts, clubs, shops, pro riders, associations, brands...).
Several particularities for the 4th edition of the World Snowboard Day:
The organizers competion proposed by EuroSIMA and the WSF challenges all the snowboard community actors’ to present to a wide public the most original activity.
The fever of the World Snowboard Day always spreads farther. Indeed, EuroSIMA and the WSF welcome this year 9 new partecipating countries: China, Macedonia, Georgia, Sweden, United Kingdom, Bulgaria,Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.
This year EuroSIMA will reward the best video on the theme “Girl PowDer”, so you can already get your camcorder ready, and let your imagination fly. Propose us a video, realized on the occasion of the WSD 2009,related with girls, snow and of course snowboarding. Your turn to play!
