Iver Mokra Gora welcomed 25 riders from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, France, Austria and Macedonia for the second edition of the 2Star Swatch TTR Protest Balkan Rookie Fest. On the background of Tara Mountain forest area, the event started under heavy snowfalls that bring super positive vibration into the crew while the partnership with Supernatural ensure an enviromental awareness also in this World Rookie Tour stop.

Serbian hospitality and culture surrounded the rookie fest crew in the incredible
Emir Kusturica's Mecavnik Village, few kilometers from the competition place.
Night snowfalls was more than 40 cm of fresh snow and changed the program of
first day from a standard training session into an unexpected powder day from
the top of the mountain to the bottom of the town. Sunday's final will consist
of 4 runs per rider, the best count and will assign 3 ticket to the Swatch 4Star
TTR “Protest World Rookie Finals” in Ischgl, Austria.

The Protest Balkan Rookie Fest was organized by the World Snowboard Federation
in collaboration with Udruzenje Freestylera, and is made possible by Protest
Boardwear, Ride Snowboards and Skullcandy, with the support of Pirate Movie
Productions, Mokra Gora - Tara Mountain Ski Area, Supernatural, energized by
RedBull.
