PARA-SNOWBOARD COMPETITION CALENDAR
The World Snowboard Federation (WSF) is excited to announce the release of the Para-Snowboard Competition Calendar for the 2012 season. Included in the Calendar is the announcement of the WSF 2012 Para-Snowboard World Championship hosted by the French Snowboard Initiative – My Snowboarding and the resort of Orcières 1850. The 2012 World Championship will have the best Para-Snowboarders from around the world competing in France over two days in February 2012 for the title of World Champion. Riders will have another chance to up their Para-Snowboard World Ranking by competing at the WSF 2012 Para-Snowboard World Cup hosted by Canada~Snowboard in Nakiska, Alberta in April 2012. The Calendar also highlights Training Camps, National Championships, and Regional Competitions taking place around the world. The WSF are continuing to work with interested resorts and National Snowboard Associations (NSAs)/National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) to host Para-Snowboard competitions throughout the season. Updates will be made directly to the WSF Para-Snowboard Competition Calendar on the WSF website.
The last Para-Snowboard World Championship hosted by the WSF took place in New Zealand in 2009 where Tyler Mosher and Bibian Mentel were crowned World Champions.
