Italian Snowboard Tour: Simon Gruber won the third contest in Alpe di Siusi

Sunday, 15 February was held in Alpe di Siusi the third stop of the Italian Snowboard Tour. The legendary Seiser Alm Snowpark hosted the third contest of the Tour. Despite the adverse weather conditions and many difficulties for the organization crew, the original race set up race was downsized but the structures allowed anyway the riders to give their best to compete.

The set up of the race was reduced to: first jump 11m, 8m Stairset with Rail, Tube (dsd) 12m. The race format has also slightly evolved , in agreement with the riders the third run was not held because a dense fog compromised the visibility in park.

Despite the various constraints, the level of the race was still very high, Simon Gruber won the top step of the podium with the run: frontside 1080 indy, 270 IN boardslide on stairs.
Alberto Maffei and Sebastian Springeth follow on second and third place . The best trick award was instead won by David Liberatore with the cab 270 boardslide IN on stairs.

In addition to cash prizes and material prizes from the sponsor Fakie Shop, the three winners won tickets to the final of the Monte Bondone, where they can fight to win the title of the Italian Slopestyle Champion FSI.
