BECOME A WSF MEMBER

WSF is the only international organization exclusively working to develop and care for the sport of snowboarding at all levels. To be a member of WSF means entering a network of snowboard associations that cooperate worldwide for the sport development.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

WSF is the only international organisation exclusively working to develop and care for the sport of snowboard at all levels. To be a member of WSF means entering a network of snowboard association that cooperate world wide for the sport development. As a member of the World Snowboard Federation you can benefit from many aspects in different fields. Besides that you will become part of a community which aims to develop snowboarding on all levels. MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

  • Submit your Application Request
  • The WSF Staff will go over your application and evaluate your requests
  • An Application Fee will be charged (150 euros)
  • The WSF Board of Directors will review the application and documents
  • The General Assembly will officially vote on the new members

Each National Snowboard Organisation with the aim of promoting the sport of snowboarding may become an ordinary member with voting right.

A National Snowboard Organisation will be accepted as an ordinary member if it represents the majority of active snowboarders in that country.

Only one snowboarding organization (one National Snowboard Organisation) from each country (that is from each autonomous state) can become a member of the WSF, usually under the name it is known in its home country.

Annual Membership Fee: from 750 euro to 1500 euro based on athletes’ participation

Each Snowboard Event Organiser with the aim of promoting the sport of snowboarding may become an ordinary member with voting right.

Only a legal entity may become an ordinary member. A NSO as per article 10.1 cannot also apply for membership as an event organiser.

Annual Membership Fee: 225 euro

Each competing Athlete may become an ordinary member without voting right.

Only natural persons may become an ordinary member.

Annual Membership Fee: 10 euro
