2015.16 World Rookie Tour

The Black Yeti is ready to announce the 2015.16 World Rookie Tour with 11 confirmed international events all around the Globe: from Europe to Asia, from South to North America. The best ski resorts and the best parks are ready to welcome to best young riders from all over the world, to discover the next snowboard stars.

The 2015.16 WRT kicked off already in the Southern Hemisphere with the South America Rookie Fest in Chile and now is time to hit the Northern side of the world.

11 years of passion and dedication, created what is know today as the best and largest youth snowboard series. 11 events are already confirmed for the 2015.16 WRT: USA and France will be again in the tour, 4 halfpipe events are scheduled, the legendaries event in Livigno and Ischgl will be bigger than ever, and 2 additional bonus events will be announced soon.

As in the past, each event will awards all-inclusive invitation to the end of season Volkl World Rookie Finals in Ischgl. Moreover some special overall tour prize will be awarded at the events in Livigno, Monte Bondone and Ischgl and will be announced soon.

WSF rookie events are reserved to Rookies (born from 1st of January 1998 to 31st of December 2000) and Grom (born from 1st of January 2001 and up), both boys and girls. All contests of the World Rookie Tour will generate valuable results for the TTR World Snowboard Tour Ranks and for the World Rookie Rank developed by World Snowboard Federation.
