Park City, USA. The world’s most progressive female snowboard talent prepare for an exciting weekend of Slopestyle and Halfpipe action as results from TTR SIX(6)STAR event, the Roxy Chicken Jam, will reveal the identity of the Women’s TTR World Snowboard Tour Champion 06/07, 22nd-25th March, 2007, at Park City/Utah, USA.

The last SIX(6)STAR contest on the Women’s TTR World Snowboard Tour 06/07, the 3rd Annual Roxy Chicken Jam is the crowning platform for this season’s TTR Champion. With an aggregate six best results calculated for a rider to win the ultimate snowboard title, riders will receive a 25% increased value of TTR Ranking Points in both Superpipe and Slopestyle formats to add to their TTR Ranking scores. The new women’s TTR World Snowboard Tour Champion will join recently crowned male, Shaun White (USA).

With only days to go until the first contest at Park City’s infamous Superpipe, all eyes are on Torah Bright (AUS), whose winning streak from last weekend’s TTR SIX(6)STAR Burton US Open Snowboard Championships, where she claimed both Overall Event and Burton Global Open Series titles, may follow her to Park City. If Bright (AUS) wins the Halfpipe, she will extend her lead as current TTR World Nr 1 over closest rival, Jaime Anderson (USA) by approximately 94 TTR Ranking Points.

Contention for the top spot could come in the form of current TTR World Nr 4 and reigning TTR World Champion 05/06, Cheryl Maas (NED). Should Maas (NED) win and Bright (AUS) places lower than 14th, Maas (NED) could take the tour championship lead by a mere 2 TTR Ranking Points. If Maas (NED) finishes on the podium she will move into 2nd place on the TTR Ranking List.

Swiss rider Sina Candrian (SUI) presently TTR World Nr 6, will add this, her 6th result of the season, to her overall ranking score. Her closest rival Bray (NZE) could move into 4th position on the TTR Ranking List if Candrian (SUI) finishes 7th or lower. However, if Maas (NED) lands outside the top 3 and Candrian (SUI) wins, she will take 2nd position on the TTR Ranking List presented by Swatch.

The situation looks interesting in the battle to move into the TTR Top 5. If Juliane Bray (NZE), TTR World Nr 6, finishes on the podium she could move up higher than 5th position on the ranking. Should Silvia Mittermueller (GER) win she would move up from current TTR World Nr 9 spot into 5th place – if Candrian (SUI) finishes 15th or lower. If Bray (NZE) finishes outside the top 4 she will also move into 5th place. Elena Hight (USA) TTR World Nr 10, & Kjersti Buass (NOR) TTR World Nr 14, both could land in the Top 5 – at the loss of Candrian (SUI) who would have to finish outside the top ten.

Friday’s Halfpipe results will set the scene for the dramatic Finale at Saturday’s Slopestyle Finals – the deciding contest for the Women’s TTR World Snowboard Tour Champion title. Post-crowning the TTR Tour Champions, the calendar continues through to the end of April 2007. All TTR contests attended until then will provide riders with TTR Ranking Points for the 06/07 TTR Ranking List presented by Swatch to add to their overall ranking score until May 01st, 2007.
