The Fanpark «Bobrovy log» (Krasnoyarsk) witnessed a unique event of international scale last weekend with the BGV Siberia (3Star TTR). The event was the first stage of the BGV tour – a popular international series of snowboard contests in Russia and CIS organized by the «Vibirai» magazine and supported by the brand Volkswagen.

For the first time, Krasnoyarsk hosted the BGV Siberia, 3Star event on the Swatch TTR Tour and the kick off to the BGV Tour. The event is on of the most outstanding winter extreme events in Siberia. Over 30 riders from different Russian cities and two Swedish riders participated and showed spectacular tricks and a top level of riding. The prize money of 220 000 ruble was divided among five top snowboarders and five best representative of New School.

About three and a half thousand people gathered in Fanpark «Bobrovy log». With its developed infrastructure, the fan park proved this year that it has the potential to be a top venue of the European level and can carry activities of international scope. It provided one day full of entertainment and emotions for all fans of snowboarding and included gifts from partners of the event, mulled wine, the famous BGV Bear mascot, music from Electro DJ’z and more than 10 trails for skiing. The rap crew “Kasta”, who love performing at the BGV, brought some heat into the cold.

BGV – this is a special atmosphere and philosophy. «Vibirai» magazine plans to organize BGV Siberia every year in Krasnoyarsk and make it a tradition.
