Festival del Andinismo - Inka Challenge (Peru)

After successfully kicking off, the second stop of the WSF South American Tour took place in one of the beautiful resorts of the Peruvian Andes on May 30th.

35 Peruvian riders came at the Pastoruri Mountain Resort, historical place of snowboarding in Peru, reopened again by the Peruvian authorities for the practice of snowboarding.

SNOWBOARDING HISTORY: FIRST PERUVIAN SLOPESTYLE CONTEST

WSF and TTR made ​​history in the Inca’s Andes thanks to the “Festival del Andinismo” (Mega festival of extreme sports in Huaraz, Peru) that hosted the first Peruvian Slopestyle contest in the history.

THE HIGHEST SNOWBOARD GS OF THE WORLD

The Highest Giant Slalom in the world took place during the famous Adventure Sports Festival of the Callejon de Huaylas, Huaraz (Peruvian Andes). The course had been made with the starting line at 4800 meters and finish line at 3800 meters.

SOUTH AMERICAN SNOWBOARD RANKING

After the second stop of the WSF South American Tour, the South American Ranking List shows the Peruvian team on the slopestyle podium and Argentine team on the Big Air podium.
