The French stage of the Wolrd Rookie Tour will take place on 1, 2 and 3 February 2014 in Avoriaz and will include 2 different discipline: halfpipe and slopestyle.

2014 News

– Half Pipe: The Avoriaz Superpipe will host the first pipe contest TTR World Rookie Tour in
France … The Superpipe Avoriaz is 120 m long with a wall height of 5.60 m.
– Slope Style: The Groms and Rookies will compete together on the Arare snowpark

This event will qualify 12 snowboarders for the Volkl World Rookie Finals in Ischgl – Austria, the
most important event for young snowboarders on the globe.

Gifts for French Fries Rookie Fest in Avoriaz
– 2 tickets for the finals in Ischgl in Austria (accommodation, breakfast, dinner, ski pass, and contest fee with a value of € 350 each). These invitations will be dedicated to the best rookie boy and the best grom boy in Avoriaz.
– The top 3 in each category (boy rookie, rookie girl grom boy, girl grom) is directly qualified for the finals in Ischgl in Austria (not for free)
