32 countries, 133 events, hundreds of free activities to discover snowboarding, and parties all night long!! This was the program of this 4th edition of the World Snowboard Day which brought together tens of tousands people all over the world on Sunday, December 20th!!

The event enabled beginners and confirmed snowboarders to enjoy free initiations, demos, products testing, riders signings, concerts and parties. And this has been possible thanks to the efforts and energy of all the international snowboarding community (clubs, shops, brands, riders, federations…), but also thanks to the WSF (World Snowboard Federation) and EuroSIMA (European Boardsports Industry Manufacturers Association, www.eurosima.com) which have been coordinating the event since 4 years already.

We would like to thank all our partners and all the local organizers without whom the World Snowboard Day could not have taken place, and become so successful in so little time! And of course, we invite you all to join us again on Sunday, December 19, 2010 to celebrate together the 5th edition of the World Snowboard Day.

In the meantime, remember that the World Snowboard Day continues on www.world-snowboard-day.com throughout the winter season. From January 25th, you will discover which organizer has proposed the most original event on the occasion of the World Snowboard Day, and you will also be able to vote online to elect your favorite video on the theme “Girls powDer”. Finally, until March 15th, you can let your creativity fly and create the 2010 World Snowboard Day poster. Send us your artworks at events@eurosima.com.
