Mammoth Lakes, CA, USA – March 6th, 2011: The 5Star Sprint US Snowboarding Grand Prix took place this weekend in Mammoth Lakes, California, where riders competed in halfpipe for a share in the

90,000 USD prize purse and a maximum of 850 TTR World Tour Ranking points. At the end of the day, it was halfpipe queen, Kelly Clark (USA), who took the win in the women’s field, claiming her fifth major TTR title of the season. In the men’s field Matt Ladley (USA) took the victory. This was a crucial result for many riders, especially Kelly Clark, who moved into the TTR World No.4. The Grand Prix was the last major TTR tour stop before the 6Star Burton US Open where the final Swatch TTR Top 10 will be set in stone for the 2010/11 season.
