New rider protocol for The Oakley Arctic Challenge

As The Oakley Arctic Challenge (TAC) has moved from January to March, new rider entry protocol is announced. The entry criteria for the January event is prolonged, but dates and deadlines have changed.

Here is the new set up:

  • TTR top 10 from last season, according to the TTR guidelines
  • Previous TAC winners
  • TTR Top 20 after Burton Canadian Open
  • Top 3 from the Swag qualification event in Vierli
  • Wild cards

TTR Top 10 from last season, previous TAC winners, Top 3 from Vierli and Wild Cards must accept or decline their spots before January 20th by e-mailing hilde@thearcticchallenge.com .

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you were invited as TTR Top 20 after Air&Style, and you are not in any of the above mentioned categories, you have to qualify by being in TTR Top 20 after Burton Canadian Open.

Arrival day for the March event will be Wednesday the 3rd. Semi-finals will be Saturday the 6th and finals on the 7th. Riders attending the European Winter X Games can make the first training day by leaving Oslo on the evening of the 7th. Night finals is changed to day finals. More info to come with details.
