Shred Down Austrian Masters gives to riders the opportunity to qualify for other outstanding competitions: TTR/WSF World Snowboarding Championships, Youth Olympic Games 2012 and last but not least the Ästhetiker Wängl Tängl 2011

Among others one male and one female athlete per discipline (halfpipe/slopestyle) have the chance to qualify for the first WSF/TTR World Snowboard Championships 2012. They will take place from the 11th to 19th February in the Tryvann Vinterpark Resort Arena in Oslo.

Furthermore the Shred Down Austrian Masters 2011 event is part of the YOG Qualification Tour. All shredders born in 1995 and 1996 have the facility to qualify for the first Youth Olympic Games which will take place in 2012 in Innsbruck. (More information on www.powdern.com respectively on

On top the Shred Down Austrian Masters 2011 event is the last chance to qualify for the Wängl Tängl 2011 in Mayrhofen. An Ästhetiker Jury will be on site in Innsbruck and Westendorf to pick out the last starters. The result will then be announced on the prize-giving in Westendorf.

The line-ups for the Shred Down Austrian Masters 2011 side-events are also fixed already. On friday the 4th March the Demograffics, Dj EM and the guys of the Pirate Discothek will entertain the crowd at the Aftershave in Innsbruck. On saturday the 5th March Dj Simsima and Dj Dash will spin the turntables at the
Blue Chip in Innsbruck. On week later more precise on the 11th March DJ Webstah will present his skills at the K2 Jib Knight Session next to the Alpenrosenbahn Talstation in Westendorf. On the 12th March the Funkanomics will end of the event with a incredible show at the Alpenrosensaal in Westendorf.

The pipe competition will take place from the 3rd to the 6th March on the Nordkette in Innsbruck and the slopestyle competition will take place from the 10th to the 13th March in the Boarders Playground in Westendorf.
