Challenge 5 – Tailbutter FS 180

Welcome to Challenge 5 of the Shred Queens & Kings Online Training Series by the World Snowboard Federation. After progressing through Frontside 180 in Challenge 4, it’s time to take your freestyle foundation to the next level with a brand new mission: the Tailbutter FS 180 Challenge.

This trick blends balance and rotation into one smooth expression of style. Press onto the tail, hold the butter, rotate frontside with confidence and control, and finish clean. You choose your terrain and your creativity brings the magic.

Whether you are riding on snow, inside a dome, in your backyard or even in your living room, this challenge is open to all ages, all genders, all levels. Safety first: helmet required at all times.

2. Practice the trick: tail balance, rotation, clean landing

3. Film your best attempt

4. Upload your clip through the CHALL platform under the WSF profile  >> Shred Queens & Kings Tailbutter FS 180 Challenge

5. Wear a helmet and ride safely
