The 8th edition of the biggest Slovak snowboard event Sony Ericsson Snowboard Fest is bringing plenty of good news for the season 07/08.

Sony Ericsson Snowboard Fest Series

The most enjoyable fact is that Sony Ericsson Snowboard Fest will continue cooperating with WSF and TTR World Snowboard Tour, as it has obtained a status of Two (2) and Three (3) Star level for the new season 07/08. Undoubtedly this is a historical moment for Slovak snowboarding ever.

Last season The Snowboard Fest was ranked into the WSF and TTR event calendar with Two (2) star level, that also strenghtened the prestige and professionality of the event. The next good point is that SNB Fest is spreading out by another event which creates a mini series :

23.02.2008 Sony Ericsson SNB FEST Ski Drienica prizemoney 10 000 USD Three (3) Star Event

Entry criteria for two (2) star event is 45 Euro and open contest + 10 invited riders
Entry criteria for three (3) star event is 60 Euro and open + 20 invited riders

Starting money includes daylong skipass, refreshment and a a strip. Riders will be enabled to register on the official event web site www.snowboardfest.sk soon.

The Snowboard Fest will continue on Big Air format and moreover fantastic Freestyle Motocross (FMX) exhibition on snow will be the part of the show. Also After party will be opened for riders and public those will be entertained by the well-known Slovak bands and DJs.

Riders from many European countries who participated on the Snb Fest last year contended for noteworthy prize money and hand-made Sword of The Malaysian tiger which deservedly got the the winner Michal Ligocki, professional rider from Poland.
