Snowboarding friends all around the world, on 17th december 2006 a new event will take place in the same time in all Europe: the Snowboard D-Day! A “Go Snowboarding” event coming right from the EuroSIMA (European Boardsports Industry Manufacturers Association). We are delighted to see how the project is spreading and growing in all Europe! Many countries are involved in the Snowboard D-Day: Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Austria, Slovakia, Switzerland, the UK, and even in Japan!!!

SNOWBOARD D-DAY, WHAT’S THAT?
EuroSIMA will organize on Sunday, December 17th, 2006 in different European snow resorts, the first edition of the European snowboarding day, the Snowboard D-Day. Authentic “open day”, the Snowboard D-Day will enable the masses, from beginners through experts of all ages, discover for free the snowboard culture and experience the excitement of snowboarding during one day.

Many snow resorts, parks and clubs have already shown their interest in the Snowboard D-Day.
France: Courchevel, Les Arcs, Avoriaz, Les 7 Laux, Méribel, Chamonix, Les Angles, Barège – La Mongie, Saint Lary, Luz Ardiden…
Austria: Flachauwinkl, Mayrhofen, Semmering, Kleinwalsertal, Silvretta Nova, Dachstein, Solden…Germany: Garmisch.
Italy: Monte Bondone, Monte Cimone, Monte Livata, Prato Nevoso, Chiesa Val Malenco.
