In line with last year (Tenth Anniversary), this edition continues and extends the international angle of the snowboard community thanks to the support of its 3 ambassadors on 3 different continents: the famous American freerider Rob Kingwill did not hesitate to continue the adventure to represent the American continent. Chinese snowboard legend Wang Lei is yet again a patron for WSD in Asia to emphasise on the importance of grass roots initiatives that bring the global riding communities together. World Snowboard Day 11th Edition!

World Snowboard Day, the largest Snowboarding Event in the world, returns after ten years held in December with a new mid-season date. The impact of climate change and the unfortunate lack of early season snowfall are major factors that influenced this decision. The countdown has begun, 80 days to go until we enter the next decade of the original globally held on-snow event: World Snowboard Day.

Join us on January 22 2017 to celebrate the 11th edition of World Snowboard Day

World Snowboard Day is a day to celebrate snowboarding in all its facets.

The same three ambassadors that supported WSD in 2015 are on board again to share their experience and motivate their communities: Gian Simmen (SUI), Wang Lei (PRC) and  Rob Kingwill (USA).

You will hear more from our ambassadors and their crews as the winter season unfolds.
