TELE2 Cup 2010

This year TELE2 CUP was held with the support of World Snowboard Federation and acquired 2star-status according to TTR&WSF World Ranking System. Appraisal of the festival by WSF& TTR at 2Star signified recognition of the project’s new level and growth dynamics.

37 athletes from Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Nizny Tagil, Magnitogorsk, Zlatoust, Ozersk, Miass, Novosibirsk, Perm and other cities were registered but only 12 top riders qualified to the BigAir Finals – trying to win a share of the 100 000 rub prizemoney (EUR2500).
Along with snowboard competitors representatives of freeski “new school” participated in the festival and demonstrated great technique and style.
European mobile operator TELE2 supports development of snowboarding in Russia and traditionally organizes Winter Festival «TELE2 CUP» in Chelyabinsk (Ural Mountains, Russia).

1 place – Dmitriy Repnikov, Novosibirsk (35 000 rub.);
2 place – Alexey Sobolev, Novosibirsk (25 000 rub.);
3 place – Vyacheslav Zinovev, Magnitogorsk (15000 rub.);
4 place – Anton Vostrotin, Yekaterinburg (10 000 rub.);
5 place – Artyem Kuleshov, Ozersk (5 000 rub.).
Artyem Kuleshov , the favorite of the public, won in nomination “The best style” (10 000 rub.).

A big entertainment program with the participation of famous Russian hip-hop bands was organized for the guests of the festival.
