The first edition of LADIES FIRST CHALLENGE (ex-NIKITA CHICKITA SWISS TOUR) will take place this winter in the Swiss Alps

The best woman skiers and snowboarders of all Europe will compete during the five qualifying rounds trying to get the CHF 8’000.- prize money put at stake this year ! Moreover the LFC 10-11 is listed in the famous worldwide circuit Ticket to Ride.

The LADIES FIRST CHALLENGE 10-11 is ambitious for its first edition. Six dates and CHF 8’000 of prize money are programmed ! The five qualifiying rounds are ranked 1 star in the TTR. The final will be 2 stars TTR !

The circuit 100% feminin started this autumn with a first qualifying round : Saas-Fee (VS) on Saturday November 13. Afterwards it will go the french part of Switzerland with two dates in January : Saturday January 15 in Leysin (VD) and Friday January 21 in Montreux (VD) during the MONTREUX JIB FESTIVAL.

The second stop in the german part of Switzerland is on Saturday February 26 in Wildhaus (SG). The qualifications will close on March 12 in Anzère (VS). The final of the LFC 10-11 will take place two weeks later on Saturday March 26 in Thyon (VS).

5 slopestyle and 1 jib session

The LADIES FIRST CHALLENGE will be formed of 5 contests “slopestyle” combining jumps and modules of jib and a session night “jib”. The judges will qualify for the final the first three best skiers and snowboarders of each qualifying round. Only the first who have obtained their ticket for the final during the qualifying rounds can participate at the last test of the circuit in Thyon.

An invitation for the final of the LFC 10-11 will be put at stake during the RIP CURL SISTA SESSIONS (event 3 stars TTR). The contest will take place in Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen in Austria from January 19 to 22, 2011.
