Torstein Horgmo Took the Aboninable Snow Jam

Torstein Horgmo resulted the best rider at the Aboninable Snow Jam winning slope style and quarter pipe. Danny Kass won the half pipe.

The 4th Annual Burton Abominable Snow Jam at Mt Hood, Oregon, wrapped up with Slopestyle contest in what proved to be an outstanding TTR FIVE(5) STAR season opener. Class performances by Danny Kass(USA) and Gretchen Bleiler(USA) in Wednesday’s Halfpipe contest were followed by storming performances by a courageous Torstein Horgmo(NOR) and stylish Erin Comstock(USA) in the Slopestyle contest. As the 07/08 TTR World Snowboard Tour gears up for it’s Southern Hemisphere leg in August, Chas Guldemond(USA) sits in TTR Tour Championship Title lead following a combined Halfpipe 6th and Slopestyle 2nd placing’s, while Kelly Clark(USA) leads the Woman’s TTR Tour Title charge bagging a Halfpipe 2nd and Slopestyle 5th.

The Woman’s Halfpipe event saw Gretchen Bleiler(USA) blast past all comers to claim her first TTR Tour Title as she pulled down frontside alley-oop, frontside 540, backside 540 and a frontside 720 to take first place and
