The largest youth snowboard series is back for the season 2010.11 to involve the next heroes of snowboarding to the international scene. Today’s pro like Peetu Piiroinen, Gjermund Braaten, Roope Tonteri had been World Rookie Champion in the past, now is YOUR chance to make the dream come true!

The international scene keep on trusting the World Rookie Tour, giving their support with amazing prizes:

  • wild card to the Oakley Artic Challenge 2011 for the winner in Livigno ( Jan.15th-19th, 2011)
  • wild card to the Air & Style 2012 for the winner in Ischgl
  • special prizes for girls (dedicated shootings and wild card to girl’s event)
  • wild cards for the Ride Shake Down in Garmish
  • video shooting with the Pirate Movie Production 2011.12
  • 2 filming trip to Chile
  • photo shooting with Onboard Europe
  • RedBull special training camp
  • Rookie Camps in Val Senales, Italy

But it’s not all about competition! The World Rookie Tour is also about having fun: travelling, meet friends, learn new tricks in the best snowparks, and learn english even more than at school!

Age Groups
The Wold Rookie Tour is reserved to riders born from january 1st 1993 to december 31st 1995 (so called ROOKIE) and riders born from january 1st 1996 and up (so called GROM), both guys and girls. All contests of the World Rookie Tour will generate valuable results for the Swatch TTR Ranks and for the new World Rookie Rank developed by WSF in association with the Swatch TTR.

World Rookie Tour Rules
The title of World Rookie Champion will be awarded to the winner of the Protest World Rookie Finals reserved to the top riders from previous Rookie Fests, plus selected riders from National Snowboard Associations and the top 20 riders from the World Rookie Rank (rank at 30 march 2011).

Mottolino Snowpark and Livigno are getting ready for the first tour stop: the Protest World Rookie Fest, from january 15th to 19th, 2011.
Registrations for Livigno will open from the beginning of december.
