Saturday the 25th of February 2012 at Horseshoe resort in Ontario, Canada, young aspiring pro snowboarders of 18 and under will compete in the first ever North American Stop of the World Rookie Tour, organized by 365 Sports in partnership with Canada Snowboard. With over 12.000 dollars in prizing and a chance to compete in the Protest World Rookie Finals in Ischgl, Austria, from 11 to 15 April 2012. Snowboard legend Terry Kidwell will be at the event to shred with the rookies!

Join us at the Canuck Chuck Rookie Fest Canada, Horseshoe Resort, February 24.25, for a great day of snowboarding and meet Snowboard legend Terry Kidwell (the godfather of freestyle).

For the first time this youth format will find its way to North America. Internationally recognized as the number one, 18 and under, event series in the world, it is built around the interest of growing and shaping the next generation of the worlds’ best snowboarders. With no cash prizing, this event instead focuses on providing opportunities to the winners to assist their potential careers. Winners will be given the trip of a lifetime to compete in the Protest World Rookie Finals 2012 in Ischgl, Austria were the end of season “World Rookie Champion” will be awarded with amazing prizes such as exclusive photo shoots, movie parts,heli trips, international editorial and access to compete in some of the largest contests in the world.

ABOUT THE WORLD SNOWBOARD FEDERATION
The World Snowboard Federation (WSF) is the international organisation working exclusively to develop the sport of snowboarding at all levels, including competitions, Para-Snowboard, judge and shapers education and certification, shapers education and certification, and snowboard activities for riders at every age. WSF represents a network of National Snowboard Associations (NSAs) who work together at a worldwide level to promote the development of snowboarding.
