WSC: L’Oréal world champion of snowboard styling


You can’t win the World Snowboarding Championships 2012 without style. Neither day or night. L´Orèal Norway is the official lifestyle sponsor of the World Snowboarding Championships, and will be present at multiple arenas during the event.

The snowboarding culture has created trends and are known for their focus on style, and the first sponsor to the World Snowboarding Championships (WSC) contributes even more to this. During the WSC Oslo will explode with entertainment options, and L ´Orèal will be present with attractive products and styling.

Everyone deserves to look good on the hills – both women and men. L `Orèal Norway.


WSC is working with Andrew W.K. as the entertainment beacon of the event. Every night he will be hosting concerts and DJ happenings at Santos Party House in Oslo – the party hub of WSC. L’Oréal will contribute with resources to make great parties, and be present on multiple arenas to style snowboarders, fans media and crew. 

“It’s fantastic to have sponsors that contribute with content. Not only is L’Oréal the first sponsor to support us, but it also brings fun activities to the event. We are very greatful. We will launch more sponsors in the months to come. As this is a first time event, many sponsors have taken their time to do their research. Now they understand the scope of the event, things are speeding up,” says Nina Horn Hynne, Communication Director of WSC 2012.


The World Snowboarding Championships gather the 240 best snowboarders to some magnificent days in Oslo 10 – 19 February 2012. The Municipality of Oslo is guaranteeing for the event as well as contributing to the new arenas. NRK, the main broadcaster in Norway, is producing all the TV content which will be brought to the world by IMG. The organizer expects 20 000 spectators to the sports events, and a lot of people to the concerts and downtown happenings.
