This Saturday, January 9th the 14th Red Bull Open at the Nanshan Mellow Park kicks off with the National Qualifier. This WST National Level qualifier event determines which 8 local riders will earn a spot in the following week’s International Level competition with a total of $55,000 up for grabs! Be there to check out riders giving their all in order to impress the judges and make it through. Rumour has it Nanshan Open super-fans Ian Thorley (USA) and Sam Hulbert (USA) will also be attempting to qualify for the main event this way!

14th Red Bull Open National Qualifier (World Snowboard Tour National Level)

Open Event. Each rider will have two runs; best single run counts. The top eight riders (with a minimum of four Chinese Nationals) will progress to the 14th Red Bull Open on the 16th and 17th of January.

PRIZES:

1st = US$ 1,000 / WST points

2nd = US$ 600 / WST points

3rd = US$ 300 / WST points

4th-6th = US$ 100 / WST points
