Adaptive Clinics in Tignes

Italian Paralimpic Comittee announced the first pan-european adaptive snowboard clinincs to be held in Tignes the upcoming week end. It is reserved to adaptive riders to improve their freestyle skills or been introduced to the snowboard sport.

Organized in cooperation with Nazca Snowboard Camp, the Adaptive Clinic 2009 will happen from24 to 26 july and it is reserved to amputee riders with 2 days of lessons

friday 24 july: Arrival day
Saturday 25 july: Training camp and party
Sunday 26 july: snowboard and departure day

Accomodation and lesson free (offered by Nazca Snowboard Camps).

8 WSF national snowboard association are working on the WSF Adaptive Snowboard Program, with the common goal to bring snowboarding at the winter paralympics games. The program started officially in 2006, seeing in 2009 international competition and educational programs in Europe, North America, Australia (video from 2009 italian adaptive championship avaible here: http://board.tv/video/323).
