Preparations on the ninth year of the biggest snowboard event in Slovakia Sony Ericsson Snowboard Fest have already began and we would like to share the hot news with you all.

Soil foundations – what else shall we wish for!
The most joyful news is that the owners of SKI Drienica brought in the slope approx 700 tons of soil just because of this event and with construction equipment they built a good foundation for a quality kicker that has good parameters and safe landing. Thus, SKI Drienica is becoming the first Slovak resort to boost SNB FEST and to support snowboarding in Slovakia.It`s very likely, that this kicker will be built already a few weeks in advance so riders have enough time to practise. Current parameters of the building are : table length 20m, width 12m and height 6m, which is a great foundation covered with technical snow.

SNB FEST again SWATCH TTR Three (3) Star Level
Another great news has just arrived from Innsbruck – straight from the base of World series Swatch TTR Snowboard Tour. Sony Ericsson Snowboard Fest was again ranked with status Three (3) Star Level in this series that confirms already known quality of this event. Apart from prize money of 10 000 USD we can look forward to another expansion of professional riders from whole Europe and many other shows!

Sony Ericsson Snowboard Fest is known by its progress and every year it comes with something new that moves this event higher and higher and so the next season will not be any exception! We have an interesting news for the riders that will definitely improve the quality of the rides. However, this is a secret and we will keep you thrilled!
