The snowpark has been setted with great care and was really appreciated by riders, who after the warm-up of saturday’s contest, pomped up during the three runs of the final contest offering a great show to the large audience showed up.

But we come to the highlights of the race were Federico Olivier and Francesca Fazi won the title of Italian Slopestyle Champion FSI 2016!

Federico Olivieri won the race beating Renzo ‘Tato’ Chiala and Alberto Planchon respectively ranked in second and third position.

The men’s race was characterized by a head to head between the top two riders but the solid tricks and the clean style of Federico Olivieri have impressed the jury allowing him to win the title of Champion!

The men’s podium

“The set up was really nice, the shapers did a fantastic job! The training was good enough then in the race I did my best and I got a great result! I’m very happy, ” said Federico satisfied after the victory.

In the girls category the best rider was Francesca Fazi who took the first place, Cristina Signorini and Jennifer Gregori ranked respectively in second and third place.

“The race was good, I enjoyed it and the setup was so cool, although for us girls it was not easy, was hard to interpret it and try to do the best. I thought I was out of age, however the result arrived unexpectedly! ” said Francesca Fazi.

Report first stop Italian Snowboard Tour

Last Sunday, 1st February, was held the first stop of Italian Snowboard Tour! After postponements of the first stops planned in Bardonecchia and Campo Felice caused from bad snow and weather conditions, the sun finally shined on the Alps and allowed to carry out successfully the first contest of the tour: “Ride the Game” in San Simone (Brembo Ski resort) on the structures of a flawless Orobik Snowpark.

The atmosphere during the day was great, full of fun, as dictated by the true spirit of snowboarding freestyle; but is not missed, however, the competitive aspect of the event, the technical level of the participants was quite high and the victory was hard fought by the rider.

The set up of the race line of Orobik Snowpark was a great result of a significant work of the park’s staff.
The line was technical but balanced with two jump and two jibbing structures that allowed the riders to give their best.
The winner of male category was Marco Donzelli, clean and technical on the jump, second place for  Alex Stewart, very technical on rails instead. Third place for Giacomo Erricchiello.
