WSF and LiveHeats launch technology partnership

World Snowboarding Federation and LiveHeats launch technology partnership to digitize snowboarding competitions globally

The World Snowboard Federation (WSF) and LiveHeats today announced the signing of a technology partnership, which will see the LiveHeats platform made available to WSF member national bodies around the world.

Under the partnership agreement, WSF members will receive discounted access to the LiveHeats platform – which provides an end-to-end solution for live judging, scoring, rankings, competition management, registration and membership. LiveHeats’ technology is mobile-first, providing an easy-to-use option for national bodies to roll out live judging using smartphones or tablets.

In addition, WSF will become a foundation customer of LiveHeats’ new federated account offering – which will give each national body a dedicated account on LiveHeats to run their own national and regional events, linked to the WSF federation through a single shared athlete database. This in turn will help advance snowboarding competitions globally, but also unify athlete and competition data.

WSF General Secretary Anna Negri says: “This partnership is the start of a strong collaboration for the future and it will allow grassroots and youth competition to have access to livescoring, competition management and registration in an easy, user-friendly way. Looking forward to starting working together”.

LiveHeats CEO Chris Friend says: “This marks an exciting new chapter for LiveHeats in our mission to help transform the competition experience in snowsports. We’re stoked to continue our relationship with the existing national bodies we work with and create new relationships with new national bodies around the globe.”
