Big Air Girls battle for Number 1 WSPL at the Swiss Freestyle Champs Corvatsch

Corvatsch, Audi Snowboard Series & Play Engadin present the Swiss Freestyle Champs from 16th to 19th april. All three disciplines Slope Style, Half Pipe & Big Air will be held on a top pro set up at the Corvatsch Freestyle Park.

Thanks to the good positions of the swiss girls (Elena Könz, Sina Candrian, Lia-Mara Bösch and more), they guarantee a battle for the 1st position in the WSPL ranking before the summer break. Lia-Mara, Elena & Sina are happy to welcome any top girls who want to join them at the Swiss Freestyle Champs!

For Big Air men and the other disciplines it will be the final chance getting positioned in the top 20 before the season break. As almost all swiss pro riders will be there we can guarantee good WSPL Points. We recommend all european riders ranked 18-35 to join “the battle of the last chance”. For pipe and slope we have already more than 100 registered riders!

The whole mountain of Corvatsch will be one big festival. There will be more than 40 Live and DJ acts on the mountain and near the Bottom Station. Friends and family members can find good packages including housing, riding & party tickets. Check the line-up and offers on www.playengadin.ch

This first win could claim the current world junior champ Michael Schärer who grew up close to the resort. Second place went to Moritz Thönen, another local-hero, Lucas Baume finished 3rd. On the second day the complete podium was renewed: Dario Burch won ahead of his friends Lukas Ehrler and Joel Staub – all of them part of the cartelboyz crew.
